Flat Iron Guide

Let's go back: Big, Frizzy, Wavy/tries to be curly,  Poofy, damaged, color treated Hair.

That's me!

Favorite: Would buy again
1. Babyliss Pro Nana Titanium Ultra thin 1" - I ordered mine from Amazon in 2011 strictly to save some money.  My #1 - until it died last month (RIP 8/11-3/13). New Iron replacement pending. I wanted to immediately order another one but wanted to experiment and see if there is anything better out there. The Titanium being the key word! I was turned onto this flat iron by a friend who said "You think your iron is the best? TRY THIS ONE!!".... My hair has NEVER looked better than when I use this iron.  I haven't found a single iron to do that kind of frizz control magic since. The plates are super long and the iron itself is extremely light. It feels like an AIR IRON! I love this blue beauty and will try to get one again.

2. KQC from Flat Iron Experts.com   Review Coming! This is my back up to the Babyliss- (bought 2011) was my #1 until Babyliss entered my life!

3. Paul Mitchell Pro Tools Express Ion Flat Iron 1 1/4"  - haven't used in a few years and haven't tried any new Paul Mitchell Irons since trying the above two! I swore by my "Paul" for years. over 5 years to be exact so I'm sure whatever new innovative irons that have come out since 2009 are really good. I'd love to try another one.

Trying:
1. Hana Titanium Flat Iron 1.5" http://www.misikko.com/hana-titanium-flat-iron.html - pending and hopeful! Misikko.com customer service was really great.

Tried:
1. Hana Elite Flat Iron 1" http://www.misikko.com/hana-elite-flat-iron.html  -  Great company (Misikko). Nice iron- just not "strong" enough for really thick, frizzy hair that was used to using a Titanium! Ceramic is better for your hair but Titanium REALLY works better on my course hair.My hair felt soft after using it but it was still pretty thick and I just kept going over and over a strand without any change. My hair was straight(er) but not poker straight and it did not take out the bumps at the top no matter what I did. I just wasn't satisfied for the money I spent ($119.99 - I was upgraded from the professional to the elite for free upon arrival which was really awesome). I tried to figure out what the difference was between the two and couldn't really get it but it was nice. I had so many added bonuses too. Makeup, cases, a cooling mat, roses, overall- I was happy I decided to order from this company. I would recommend this flat iron to many people with wavy, less course hair. If you have decent hair, chances are you'll love this iron.

2. Chi  Original Flat Iron 1" Ceramic-  served a purpose for me when my Paul Mitchell died in 2008 actually borrowed it from a neighbor- but haven't bought a CHI since I replaced the Paul Mitchell with another Paul Mitchell.

*Please note all of the above flat irons listed were purchased by me! I did not get compensated to review these irons* or receive free irons. My opinions are not influenced by ANY company and I will continue to track down the best products out there!
